Thanks guys... now for nuts and bolts. I changed some config settings, reinstalled the new zblock (which I will turn on here soon on a perm status, so that we don't forget to turn it on.) If anyone knows where I can find a 100tic server platform I have the bandwidth to run it AND the server is capable of running it with ease. So if you are interested in that let me know... I am also going to experiment with running it in Linux on my other server and see which one we like better as far as lag is concerned. I am here to make the server anyway we need it to be I just need to know what you all want. I can't uninstall the old one without knowing exactly how to set it again this close to the CAL season start.. maybe before next season I will get the FULL updated version from steam and go from there.

Might I make a suggestion here Dunny.......MAKE A BACK UP OF EVERYTHING!!! I remember THC and I had a hell of a time working on the zombie server because he didn't make a back up of the original b-4 making changes. Learn from our mistake. I know it sounds like common pratice, but so often forgotten, and I KNOW about the forgotten.

Dunny KK 2 things while I'm thinking about it to do with the server RIGHT NOW: Take of the password (password=" ") Set the time limit to 2 minutes (mp_roundtime=2) Set start money to $800 (don't remember ) Set up so the server itself can be RCON'd ("remote desktop connection" in user-friendly windows terms)

Well the server nuts the bed because I think someone had RCON access that shouldn't have. Anyway, I have a scattered harddrive because of it. I want to limit RDC connections to myself, winter (because he knows the machine already and I trust him as much as I do myself) Ormis and Dom... guys if there is someone else that ABSOLUTELY needs access to the server (other than RCON ) let me know.
The remote desktop connection is not hard, I just don't want people playing with files they shouldn't be. Dunny

THC gave me RDC to the old server so i could set pw's and basically debug it when he was busy.

Ok Sic when I get the server redone... right now I can't even get it to boot... tried to do the block by block redirect but after 2 hours I was still at 8% I think the drive is fried. I can't just take that drive out and replace it in the box, because even though I have 6 spare harddrives. I don't exactly know which one is bad, AND even if I did where I would be able to replace what THC has done with the server.

Ok didn't need to get THC involved ... It is officially up and running and stable. It is set up in CAL config (I think) and the ZBLOCK is working as it should... IF you get a chance stop by and see if it is working up to par. Dunny

I have to say, awesome job at getting the server back up for the match. It's the other teams problem if they want to have a forfeit and ruin our days. Also, Dom, i love the idea of having another server, nice job with a fall back plan.
